Check this out! Covergirl just repacked their tinted moisturizer as a BB cream. I guess anything can be a BB cream now, buyer beware.
Thanks to American and European countries taking the name and slapping it on just about anything there are pretty much 2 kinds of BB creams now. There is the glorified tinted moisturizer with sunscreen and the Korean style beauty cream with good coverage and many different types of benefits.
I was going to ask you if you would do some reviews of the Korean BB creams you mentioned in a previous post. I am looking to try some out, I ordered the Skin Food Good Afternoon Peach Green Tea #1 recently but haven't received it yet (the damn mail takes forever!!)Anyway, I believe you mentioned that you had several, a post on the differences between them would be helpful! :)
ReplyDeletesome were just samples that didn't get any pictures taken because they were "OMG holy crap what is on my face" orange LOL (Skin79 hot pink and dream girls). I'm going to order some more in a month or two to try some different ones. GAPGT has a nice matte finish but seems to be giving me cystic acne after using it for 2 months.
DeleteI plan on checking out Holika Holika Peach Girl and I might look for a sample grab bag or mini sizes of a few others. I have the worst time matching my skin with BBs because a lot of them oxidize pretty badly on me.
I like Holika Holika BB cream, I've been using it for months and love it. I've thought about trying Etude House. Everytime I think of trying American bb cream, i always think back to the negative things I've heard about it.
ReplyDeleteDoes it really suck that bad?
