I'm glad I decided to try this product! My nails still aren't amazing but they look the best they ever have in my entire life. I have applied this product 1-4 times a day for 2 months and these are the results:
- my nails are the longest they've ever been (although still short by most people's standards)
- my cuticles don't look like I took sand paper to them any more
- I have only had 2 very minor broken nails since using this product (compared to a broken nail about every other day)
- I only have 2 peeling nails instead of 10
I'm not sure what makes this product so good, the ingredients read like it's lotion.
Water, aloe leaf extract, jojoba seed oil, gylcerin, gylceryl stearate, beeswax, hydrolized collagen, calcium pantothenate, allantoin, ethylhexyl palmitate, vitamins A, C, D and E, panthenol, fragrance, methylparaben, propylparaben.
You can use it over nail polish, just rub in a small amount to the nail and around the nail and you're done. It absorbs very quickly and isn't greasy.
Since I love my glitter bomb polishes I tend to use 100% acetone nail polish remover which can be drying. Using this product right after removing polish restores my nails. I will definitely repurchase Hard as Hoof Nail Strengthening Cream.
Hard as Nails is made by Onyx Brands
I've never heard of this before. I use acetone as well and it makes my nails peel to sh*t.
ReplyDeleteAcetone is harsh as hell but I don't want to spend 45 minutes trying to take my polish off lol. Somehow this little cream really moisturizes the nail, works wonders.

Thanks for commenting, the Onyx 100% pure acetone remover is what I currently use to remove my polish.
DeleteI love the smell of this cream. I think it is cherry almond scent. I started using it a year ago and my nails have never been stronger. They use to break all the time. My only problem is that my walmart has been out of it for sometime now so i had to get online and find it. After searching for awhile i found it at a store called ineedbeauty i hope they keep carrying it or walmrt restocks it.
ReplyDeleteKeep looking because i just picked some up at walmarts yesterday , you could have walmart cumtomer service call different walmarts to see if they have it.
DeleteI used this religiously, several times a day, every day, after removing my acrylics three years ago. I liked to apply it right after each time I washed my hands. I used it as suggested, by scooping some cream up under my nails and then massaging it all around my nails and cuticles, but sometimes I'd also leave some of the cream under my nails overnight. It helped bring my nails back to life faster than any polish-treatment alone could (though I still suggest almost anything from Nail-Aid - favorites being Extreme Steel or Ultra-Fast Growth - or Sally Hansen's Maximum Growth to use in conjunction with this cream to keep your nails protected). Within four months my nails were completely restored as though I'd never used acrylics at all. I've been wearing my natural nails ever since. It smells A-MAZING. I only ever find it at my Wal-mart in Severn, MD. My other surrounding Wal-marts don't have it, but they do sell it online at walmart.com.
ReplyDeleteI am a commercial cleaning technician. My hands are beat up.I have dry rough skin on my finger tips like sand paper.I have tried all hand lotions from Aquaphor to Gold Bond. The only cream/lotion thats worked for me is the Lady Soma Skin & Nail Treatment - it absorbs, it smells wonderful.I felt bad touching anyones skin with my hands they were so dry.I use this all the time at work, at home ,before bed.
